Instead of a Diet, Get a Camera

Americans are obese, but at least we have a slew of technology out there to help us out. In fact, there’s a newHP camera, that actually makes you look slimmer. Check this out:

And the website reads:

Slimming effect? Quite subtle in a creepy sort of way.
We could have used this feature when we were working on photos of my slightly plump (but charming and caring) niece for her quincenera.
Her grandfather got a little carried away with the height adjustment on an image. It was way too obvious to be of help to her self-esteem.
Too bad we’re not concerned about developing a Charming and Caring Effect in digital cameras.
